That panini looks delicious! I too am an Ellie fan. Came across her show by chance and am now hooked. I've made a bunch of her recipes lately both from her Food Network show and also from her cookbook. If you haven't tried them yet, do because they were delicious!
Roasted Red Pepper with Feta Fettucine
Thai coconut curry halibut
Salmon with Sweet & Spicy Rub (make the lentil dish that accompanies it--so good!)
Sloppy Joe's (hated these as a kid but hers have almost a chili texture and taste to them)
Chicken Chop Suey (another I didn't care for as a kid but this had all the flavor and crunch with the grease)

Now I must run out to get some portabellos. Thanks for posting this!

Hi Saori!

The La Cruset cast iron pot is the best thing. It distributes heat perfectly when cooking ... it makes everything you cook delicious and tender .... it's hands down one of the best kitchen tools in the world : - )

Yeah, risotto is good that you can pretty much through everything except the kitchen sink! I ate two bowls full of it before the 10k run, and ate some more after! I'm all carbed out but it was worth it!

Love,
Hirono

your food - whether extra fancy or home-y - is always so good... this risotto idea is another great way to use what's in your fridge instead of feeling like you're eating leftovers. you can pretty much throw anything and everything in there huh!

is that cute green cast iron pot new? is that non-stick?
what is the great advantage of this pot other than looking super cute and retro?

Hi Saori,

I know! Isn't it so cute? I'm glad I waited for the pink one. I can't wait to get better at this bread making thing so I can bake you fresh loaves regularly! There's nothing more delicious than a freshly baked bread!

Love,
